Sealed (the "app") is published by the studio Ivryn (Victor Laybats). By using Sealed, you accept these terms.
Sealed is a one-phone group photo capsule. Guests can pass one phone around and capture moments from its camera; those moments stay sealed until the timer runs out, and then the group can gather around that phone for the reveal. The current version does not synchronise a capsule across several phones.
The photos and captions you create are yours. You are responsible for what you capture. Don't shoot or share illegal content, or content that infringes anyone's rights, and respect the privacy of the people around you and any local laws about filming others. The current app stores capsule content locally on the phone that created it; Sealed does not upload that content to Ivryn servers.
Opening or viewing a capsule does not delete it. Its photos remain in the app until you manually delete the capsule or uninstall the app. Your phone's system backup settings may back up or restore app data. If you choose Save or Save all after opening, Sealed may request Photos permission and writes separate copies to your photo library. Deleting the capsule or app does not delete copies saved or shared elsewhere.
Sealed includes its own reveal soundtrack. You may instead attach a link to a track in a supported external music service. Sealed can open that link, but you must start playback in the external service and return to Sealed before beginning the reveal. Sealed has no integrated commercial-music catalogue and does not provide, import, stream, synchronise or control that commercial recording. Access remains subject to the external service's availability, subscription requirements, region and terms.
We work hard to make Sealed reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any given moment will be preserved. Keep anything you truly can't lose backed up elsewhere.
Don't abuse the app, use it to harass others, create or store unlawful content, attempt to break, scrape or reverse-engineer it, or try to circumvent its limits or sealing mechanism. The current app has no remote invitations, shared-capsule backend or cross-device sync. It also does not detect, block or notify participants about screenshots or screen recordings, so everyone handling the phone remains responsible for consent and any copies they create.
Sealed offers optional monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The annual subscription may include a three-day free trial for eligible new subscribers when that offer appears at checkout. The Store determines eligibility. If a trial is granted, the annual subscription starts and the Store charges your account when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
Prices are localized and displayed in the app before you confirm a purchase. Currency, taxes, offer availability and renewal terms depend on the Store, your region and your account. Unless canceled, a paid subscription renews automatically for the selected monthly or annual period and the Store charges your account under the checkout terms shown to you.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. To prevent a future renewal, cancel through the Store before it renews. The Store controls billing, refunds, the effective time of cancellation and any remaining access period.
RevenueCat is Sealed's subscription-processing provider and is used to present available offers, validate and restore purchases, and keep subscription access current. Apple or Google processes the payment and applies its own billing terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ivryn is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the app, including lost or unrevealed moments or unavailable external music playback.
We may update the app and these terms; continued use means you accept the current version. These terms are governed by the law applicable where the publisher is established.
